The German Klub will screen the movie The Lives of Others (2006, in German: „Das Leben der Anderen") by film director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall: a secret police officer spies on a playwright, who is critical of the regime. But what the officer discovers changes his life completely. Everyone is welcome no matter whether or not you speak German or are just interested in the history or cultures of German-speaking countries. All movies are connected to German classes at SSU.
