Digital Content Creator

 

If you have an interest in graphic design, photography and videography, being a Digital Content Creator may be the job for YOU! Get ready to take on multi-media projects and help the team to create graphics, videos, and marketing materials for 12 departments on campus. Your creativity will fly and everyone will be seeing campus from your lens!

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

Using Adobe Creative Cloud to:

  • Create print ready graphics

  • Create digital graphics for digital signage, social media content, email graphics and

    YouTube thumbnails, etc.

  • Working with After Effects, creating motion graphic adverting to show on digital signage

Photography

Working on a Canon DSLR to:

  • Capture portraits, headshots, and student photography on campus

  • Capture our scenic campus throughout the year to share on social media

  • Attend events on campus to capture the experience of the event

Videography

Working with a Canon DSLR and Microphones

  • Plan video ideas through the whole process from an idea to the final edits

  • Film fun videos that are relatable to students or department target markets 

  • Edit raw footage in Adobe Premier and use After Effects to add motion graphics

What kind of Marketing will you be doing?

Event Marketing

for on campus events:

  • Creating print and digital graphics

  • Take photos of events - focusing on set up, culinary, students, and moments

  • Take video B-roll of event to show activities at event, student interaction, and filming the event as a vlog

  • Edit photos/video clips to create event

  • Recap content

Department Marketing

for 12 departments on campus:

  • Work with the department on what they need per project

  • Create marketing materials per requests

  • Materials are shared through Seawolf Living and various marketing channels

Lifestyle Marketing

Growing the Seawolf Living Community:

  • Create a fun, student-friendly, lifestyle brand for Seawolf Living

  • Be talent in videos

  • Interact with other students by tabling, asking to be in photos/videos


Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of:

Canon Camera Equipment

iMac Computers

Adobe Creative Suite

  • Photoshop

  • Lightroom

  • Illustrator

  • InDesign

  • Premier

  • After Effects

  • Able to function in an environment that has dozens of projects going at any one time and be able to deliver quality work on tight deadlines and under pressure

  • A professional and positive attitude, results-driven with an ability to work independently

  • Strong skills in paying attention to detail, project management, organization, and analyzing information

  • Desire to learn and gain real-world marketing experience in a fun environment while producing professional-quality work

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to full-time staff and peers
