Keeping Sonoma State safe is a community effort. In that spirit, Sonoma State Police Services has planned an exciting week of programs all revolving around safety and security. Campus Safety Week is a new program that works collaboratively with partners on and off campus. All Safety Week activities are open to all students, faculty and staff.
Monday October 13th:
- Campus Safety Week Kick-Off! at 12 pm | Campus-wide
- Cotati Police K-9 Unit at 12 pm | Campus-wide
- Safety Week Tabling at 11:30 am - 2 pm | Salazar Quad
- Active Shooter Lecture Presented by Chief Johnson at 2 - 3:30 pm | Alexander Valley Meeting Room
Tuesday October 14th:
- DUI Crash Vehicle ALL DAY | Salazar Quad
- Resources and Education Tabling - Alcohol Awareness at 11 - 2 pm | Salazar Quad
- Tips to Stay Safe and Party Smart at 1 -2 pm | Salazar Quad
- Those Amazing Goggles at 6 -8 pm | Seawolf Plaza
Wednesday October 15th:
- Resources and Education Tabling - Sexual Assault Awareness at 11 - 2 pm | Seawolf Plaza & Salazar Quad
- Self Defense Class at 3 - 4 pm | Niagara Studio in the Rec Center
- Sexual Assault Prevention Panel at 5 - 6 pm | Student Center Ballroom B
Thursday October 16th:
- Drop, Cover, and Hold on! Drill at 10:16 am | Campus-wide
- Resources and Education Tabling - Emergency Preparedness at 11 - 2 PM | Student Center, Rec Center & Main Quad
- Sonoma County Sheriff's Department Helicopter Landing and Demonstration at 1 pm | Stevenson Quad
- Incident Command and Emergency Operations Center Tour at 3 pm | Police Services
