Fairfield Osborn Naturalists Tours

  • Fairfield Osborn Preserve (map)

The Osborn Preserve is known for its erosive geology, habitat diversity, and aquatic insect communities in Copeland Creek. On your tour, your guide will lead you into the heart of the Preserve, sharing stories about the area's geology, ecology, human history, and on-going research and management.

Public tours are seasonally available on Saturdays. For tour dates, see Center Calendar. No registration is required. Tours last approximately 4 hours. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring food, water, and sunscreen or rain gear (depending on the weather). There is no cost, but donations are recommended and appreciated. Written Directions to Osborn. If you are interested in learning how to lead public tours, we encourage you to take our Docent Naturalist Training. For more information contact Suzanne DeCoursey.

No need to sign up. Just show up.
