Directed by Department of Music chairman Dr. John Palmer, the twice-yearly Rock Collegium is an outgrowth of the class, MUS 481.

In this Special Topics Workshop students study various genres and styles of rock music. Then they compose and perform their own works their final project.

The Rock Collegium is limited to 10-15 members playing guitars, vocals, bass, drums. Each concert features some deep cuts, some classic rock favorites, and like any good rock performance, some surprises.
