The Sonoma State University Alumni Association established the Heart of SSU Alumni Scholarship endowment in 2015 to fund a complete year of tuition for Sonoma State students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend college. The scholarship recognizes students with strong academic performance with a demonstrated commitment to the campus and community who embody the spirit of Sonoma State.

Eligibility: Current Sonoma State students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and at least 24 completed units at SSU are eligible to apply for the Heart of SSU Alumni Scholarship.
Minimum of one award available with the possibility of awarding 1-2 additional students
