Join the SSU Fraternity and Sorority Life community , as they sponsor this month’s Blood Drive, along with Vitalent. Vitalant exists to make a difference in people's lives. They are deeply committed to making a transformative difference, and ensuring patients have the blood they need to see tomorrow. Before COVID, we received word from our partners in Colorado that they responded to requests for additional blood from two of the three hospitals treating victims of the tragic STEM School Highland Ranch shooting. This response was in addition to the blood supply already on the shelves at those hospitals, ready and waiting for those who needed transfusions. This is possible because of the generosity of selfless donors.

Vitalant is a non-profit blood bank that provides a direct link between volunteer blood donors and patients in need. We collect, test, process and distribute lifesaving blood products 24/7, 365 days a year. There’s no substitute for human blood. We rely 100% on volunteer donors and coordinators.
