Super Kids Camp is Hiring for Summer 2018
Super Kids Camp provides children (ages 5-11 years old with a safe, supportive, and fun environment that encourages child development through various activities including sports, drama, art, field trips, and other planned special events. SKC also provides leadership and mentor opportunities through our counselor in training program for children 11-12 years old.
The Super Kids Camp Counselors work as a team to provide an environment that fosters personal, social, educational, and recreational growth with participating campers.
Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of child development and/or experience working with children
- Creative and energetic
- First Aid, AED, and CPR certified (provided upon hiring)
- Belay certification through the Campus Rec Climbing Wall (provided upon hiring)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the campers in leading and supervising events
- Design and implement lesson plans for camp sessions on a weekly basis with guidance from Camp Directors
- Some skill in the following areas — art, sport, drama, and science
- Participate in camp events and activities
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training
