Did Someone Say Smoothie Robot?
The day is here, Blendid, a fully autonomous food robotics station has launched in our very own Charlie Brown’s Cafe.
The stand-alone kiosk is a high-tech solution that combines software, hardware, and robotics to offer fresh, healthy and delicious smoothies, called Blends.
Blendid’s robot assistant is the creator of these delicious smoothies, made from fresh fruits & vegetables.
We are super lucky to have this on Sonoma State’s campus, as we are the first public university to have the Blendid smoothie robot!
All that Seawolves have to do is place an order either on the Blendid app or kiosk tablet, customize the order to their liking, and pay! From there, the robot takes over with the measuring, blending, pouring and serving.
What’s even crazier about this? It only takes about 2 minutes per smoothie! The robot can even make up to 45 drinks an hour, as well as 9 drinks simultaneously.
Each smoothie runs at $6 per 12-ounce blend.
(Don’t worry, Dining Dollars & Wolfbucks also work when buying these smoothies, just purchase them with the register with a cashier at Charlie Brown’s Cafe instead of at the kiosk!)

Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
