From preparation for the Career Fair, to post-fair workshops, the Career Center has got you covered. Let’s take a look at each event happening during the Career Fest!

Event #1: Prepare for the Fair- Career Pop-Up

Dates: 3/3 & 3/4

Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Place: Salazar Plaza

Details:

  • See a Career Advisor for a 15-minute drop-in appointment

  • Get your resume reviewed by a professional advisor

  • Check out the Career Clothing Closet for access to professional attire

  • Connect with employers who will be attending the career fair 

  • Reduce your stress by visiting with therapy dogs and decorating cookies!

Event #2: Career Fairs

Dates: 3/11 & 3/12

Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Place: Student Center Ballrooms

Industry Tracks: STEM; Wine/Business (March 11) & Social Impact; Wine/Business (March 12)

Details:

  • Bring copies of your resume and have your elevator pitch ready to go!

  • Use Handshake to register for the fair(s)

  • Identify companies/organizations that will be in attendance

  • Search the full-time positions & internships being hired for

  • Any major is welcome to attend

  • Business casual or business professional attire is strongly encouraged

Event #3: Post-Fair Employer Workshops

Dates: 3/11 & 3/12

Time: 2:15 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Place: Student Center Valley Rooms

Details:

  • Use this time to attend one of our employer-hosted workshops to learn more about what it’s like to work at the company

  • Get details about the hiring process

  • Specific employers & companies TBD

  • Use Handshake to find out more about this event and including which employers will be there, to register for the event, and more
