Registration Tips

If it’s your first time registering for classes, or even your last, registration can come with a lot of stress. Here are some tips on tackling it the best way you can!

  • Meet or email with your academic advisor to discuss and double check you are on the right track.

  • Use Seawolf Scheduler to map out the classes you need and the schedule you prefer for the semester well in advance.

  • Pick out 2nd and 3rd (and even 4th) back-up classes & schedules just in case you don’t get into the classes you first picked.

  • Double check that your back-up classes work with your various potential schedules.

  • Have everything imported from Seawolf Scheduler and ready to go in your shopping cart!

  • Check a couple days, a day, and even an hour before your registration time to make sure your classes are still open to enroll.

  • If there is a class you absolutely need, or just want to try for, and it’s already full before your registration time- there’s an option to join the wait list!

  • Hop on 5 minutes before enrollment time and get ready to click!

  • Staying calm and level headed is key- especially in a high stress situation!
