End An Interview Strong With These 7 Questions

If you think that the hardest question in an interview is, “So do you have any questions for us?” this blog is for you! Whether you’re interviewing for a job, internship, or leadership position, this process can be intimidating. Lucky for you, we’re here to help! Check out these 7 interview questions that will impress any future employer.

1) “How do you view your company culture?”

Company culture describes the values, behavior and morale of the work environment. This is a great question to ask at the end of an interview because it allows you to learn more about what working for the company would be like and if this workplace is the right fit for you!

2) “What are some of the biggest challenges this company is facing right now?”

This offers the interviewer a chance to show you where the company is lacking and how YOU may be able to help if you land the job. Tip: it is a good sign if a company is constantly trying to better themselves and has the ability to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses!

3) “Do you have any hesitations about my qualifications?”

Although this question places you in a vulnerable position, you will be able to address any weaknesses that the interviewer may have about your qualifications. Be ready to reassure them of your abilities and answer any lingering questions they may have.

4) “Where do you see your company in 5 years?”

Not only does this put your interviewer on the spot and require them to think about the potential of their business, but you will know where YOU will be in 5 years if you are offered the job. Their answer also shows if there is room for growth within the company.

5) “Can you elaborate on the day-to-day responsibilities of this job?”

If you feel as though the interviewer has not yet covered every detail of the position, this is the question for you! The answer to this will tell you what your daily routine will look like and you will know exactly what is expected.

6) “What is your staff turnover rate and how are you trying to reduce it?”

When you ask this question, it lets the interviewer know that you care about job security and are looking to learn and grow from and with the company. If people are secure in their jobs and have been in the company for a long time, not only is the company culture positive, but this shows that they enjoy their job!

7) “How do you evaluate success?”

We all want to be successful, but how is the idea of “success” measured? The way the interviewer explains how they measure success will tell you exactly what you need to do in order to advance over time and step into future promotions.
