What To Do On A Rainy Day
A little rain never needs to spoil the fun! But it’s been pouring rain for weeks now in Sonoma County, and by now you just might be running out of fun ways to spend your free time. So we want to give YOU some ideas to stay entertained and enjoy yourself while staying dry inside!
GET COZY
The best feeling is getting into comfy clothes and bundling up in a blanket! If you’re feeling fancy, an electric blanket is even better! No need to go outside, so make sure to stay snug and warm inside by wearing something cozy!
WATCH A MOVIE/SHOW OR READ A BOOK
Been needing a reason to stay inside and watch movies or binge-watch shows all day? Well, now you have one! Pull out your favorite movie or a new one and grab some popcorn! The same goes for a show, binge away and RELAX! Need some quiet time? Pull out a book and read away!
PLAY GAMES
Stuck inside with your friends or roommates? No problem! Whip out your board games or cards and have some fun! Don’t have any games? Look some up online and play trivia or digital ones! The possibilities are ENDLESS!
GET COOKIN’ OR BAKIN’
Baking a warm treat or cooking a delicious soup on a cold and rainy day creates an instantly cozy atmosphere. Hopefully you have the supplies, but hey, work with what you’ve got! Pull out the baking ingredients and experiment! Plus if you have your roommates or friends with you, make it a group project!
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Love to paint or not…getting crafty is ALWAYS a good idea! Paint something, color, or doodle it out! Work with what you have and get creative. Plus, it’s therapeutic!
CLEAN UP
Yep, you heard us. This one might not SOUND good, but it will FEEL good!! If you’re stuck inside, that means you’re stuck in your space. So if it’s feeling a little dirty, take some time to deep clean and pick up. It will feel so good and then you can fully enjoy your space afterwards! Cleaning up can make your life feel less messy and overwhelming. So do yourself a favor and CLEAN!
We hope you enjoy the rainy weather, stay dry, and have some fun, Seawolves!
