Speaker Bio
Eric Roman is a lieutenant with the Dallas Police Department. He served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps (Reserves) and has served as a police officer with the Dallas Police Department for 19 years. His previous assignments include Patrol, SWAT, Narcotics, Fugitive & Gangs. He also has served as Unit Commander of – Assaults Unit/Sex Assaults, Missing Persons and Mobile Field Force Units. Lt. Roman earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration and a M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Texas. He is a certified Texas Master Peace Officer, Basic Instructor and Mental Health Officer. Lt. Roman is currently assigned to Southwest Division 3rd Watch Patrol Commander.
