Hazing is not a time-honored tradition. Hazing is not a team building activity. Hazing is not harmless. Hazing is NOT OKAY.  

“Hazing is any action taken or any situation created intentionally that causes 

embarrassment, harassment or ridicule and risks emotional and/or physical harm to

  members of a group or team, whether new or not, regardless of the person’s 

willingness to participate.”

Max Gruver had been at Louisiana State University for only a month when he died of alcohol poisoning and aspiration after a hazing ritual at the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house in 2017. Join us as Max’s mother, Rae Ann,  shares his story and her story in the hopes that it will never be OUR story!
