Sonoma State University, in partnership with the Redemption House of the Bay Area, the Human Trafficking Center, and in sponsorship with Operation Underground, is hosting this two-day Human Trafficking Training. This training is open to all members of the campus and surrounding communities, especially those that are in law enforcement, dispatch, prosecutors, advocates, medical professionals or those who own service businesses (e.g. hotels, restaurants, construction, etc.). We also welcome students, staff and faculty from SSU that are interested.
This will be a FREE two-day training (but you can attend just one day or parts of the day if you cannot attend it all). Sessions will be held in the Student Center Ballroom on Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 13th, 2024. The event will be from 8am – 5pm with a break for lunch.
This results-based training to interdict human trafficking suspects and victims is free, and designed for police officers, prosecutors, analysts, advocates, dispatch and medical professionals. Day 1 covers Interdiction and Day 2 deals with Illicit Massage
