Career Fest is coming....

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors! Sonoma State’s very own Career Fest is almost here! For the first time ever, we will be having four fairs categorized by fields of interest. Weather you are looking for an internship, part time or full time position, or just want to explore career opportunities upon graduating, you won’t want to miss this event. There will be hundreds of connections for Sonoma State students to make from March 29 - April 4.

How to Prepare for Career Fest:

Things that will be essential for your success at Career Fest are copies of your resume and an elevator pitch to sell yourself to potential employers.

The Career Center located in the International Hall has multiple workshops coming up in March to help you with all of your preparation for Career Fest and steps to take once Career Fest is over.

The next step is to create a Handshake account. Handshake is a website dedicated to helping students stay connected to potential employers specifically seeking out college students. To make an account go to their website and create an account with your SSU information. Handshake is going to be a great tool to utilize to stay connected to the people you meet at Career Fest.
