SSUTD: Fall Edition

Summer may be drifting away, but not to worry, Fall is here and we’ve got all the best things to do to get you in the spirit.

Did you know that just 15 minutes from here you can pick apples in Sebastopol? The best pick we found for a student budget is at Apple-A-Day Ratzlaff Ranch! Open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday through Friday (closed Thursday and Saturday,) apple picking is a great way to enjoy a day out with friends!

For specific information about Apple-A-Day Ratzlaff Ranch visit their website.

Fall Movie Night

What better way to get into the Fall spirit than a classic movie night! Invite some friends over, grab the popcorn, and curl up watching some Fall favorites. What’s our top movie choices? We picked Hocus Pocus, Halloween, Halloweentown and The Shining (did you hear the second one is coming out soon!)

Pumpkin Patch

How could we not mention taking a trip to the pumpkin patch! Pumpkins, corn mazes, hay stacks, petting zoo…do we need to say more? Check out the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch that is known for it’s corn maze; you won’t be disappointed.

For more information on the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch, visit their website.

One of our personal favorite things to do in the Fall is make dishes that enhance the season! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, apple cider, soups, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes are just a couple food items to get you feeling “fall-ly.” Get a group of friends together for a potluck and have everyone bring a dish!
