Grab an agenda next time you’re at the store and take the time fill it in! Jot down your classes, homework, work schedule, workout times & plans with friends. Having a set schedule brings motivation to follow through with everything you initially wrote down.
Seawolf Tip: Draw boxes next to each thing you have to do for the day and check them off as you go!
Grab a friend and start off the New Year right with some automatic stress relief at the Rec. Check out the Spin Bicycles upstairs or borrow a jumprope from the Front Desk!
Seawolf Tip: Not motivated to workout alone? Check out the InMotion class schedules and try it out!
To avoid having to buy a scantron every time you have a test, buy the bulk pack and be ready for the entire semester! This will save last-minute panicking that you forgot to get one before the test.
Seawolf Tip: Did you know Toast on campus also sells scantrons?
Having some mellow time on the weekend or during the week? Make time to enjoy the surrounding areas of SSU! From cool hikes, to hidden beaches, to cute coffee shops, Sonoma State is in the middle of many hidden gems.
Seawolf Tip: Ask coworkers, classmates, & locals about their favorite places near SSU! Soon enough you’ll have a whole list of cool places to check out.
Have a jam-packed week? Grab some groceries for the week & spend some time in the kitchen! Making meals for those days where you don’t have time to will save you stress and give you more time to sleep in.
