The Queen’s Gambit
Nominated for Best Television Motion Picture. This is a finish in a couple nights show for sure! The incredible story line of Beth Harmon’s life and her journey with chess is a show stopping coming of age phenomenon.
Schitt's Creek
Nominated for Best Musical/Comedy Series. This hilarious series follows a family as they come into money problems and have to move to a ramshackle motel in a town they once bought as a joke: Schitt's Creek.
SOUL
Nominated for Best Picture- Animated. This heart warming movie tells the journey of a middle school music teacher named Joe Gardner, who seeks to reunite his soul and his body after they are accidentally separated, just before his big break as a jazz musician.
Emily in Paris
Nominated for the Best Musical/ Comedy Series. A great light hearted show that showcases a young woman’s journey to Paris while juggling work, friends and romance.
The Mandalorian
Nominated for Best Drama Series. Calling all Star Wars fans, you don’t want to miss out. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic.
Hamilton
Nominated for Best Picture musical/ Comedy. The 2020 Movie of Hamilton, captivated audiences as it told the real life story of one of America's foremost founding fathers and first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. Captured live on Broadway from the Richard Rodgers Theater with the original Broadway cast.
The Prom
Nominated for Best Picture musical/Comedy. This outstanding cast and their amazing costumes is a show stopper! Come along as a group of down-on-their-luck Broadway stars shake up a small Indiana town as they rally behind a teen who just wants to attend prom with her girlfriend.
