This Is What I'll Miss Most...

It’s that time of year again where we have to say goodbye to a class of amazing Seawolves. While we’re in a nostalgic mood, let’s take a look down memory lane and check in with our graduates about what they’ll miss most. We asked our grads about their all-time favorite things about going to college at SSU on Instagram, and here’s what they said!

“The People”

This one was understandably the most popular response. College is defined by your relationships, so finding friends, acquaintances, or groups that support you is something irreplaceable. The people here at Sonoma State University are one of a kind and will definitely leave an impact as you come to the close of your college years.

"Living With My Best Friends"

There is something so special about living with people that you trust, love, and care about! Finding roommates that you get along with can be very difficult so if this statement resonates with you, know that you are so lucky!

"The Beautiful Scenery"

One thing we can all agree with is that this campus is absolutely beautiful. Between the trees, flowers all over, and don't get us talking about the cherry blossoms during the spring! Walking around this campus is something special and can bring so much peace. Sitting by the lakes or by the art building is one of the most therapeutic areas to go to on campus. Take advantage of such beauty while you can!

“All The Resources”

This one is quite true! You’ll probably never be around more resources in your life than here in college. Between the Career Center, Tutoring, CAPS, The Rec Center, The HUB Cultural Center, and more, there is so much at your fingertips! Whether you need help with finding your career or just want to go to a workout class, Sonoma State University has you covered. Enjoy while you can!

“The Area”

Sonoma County is a gorgeous county full of nature, vineyards, cute towns, and great food spots! This area is one that will make you want to stay, or make you want to come back and visit the minute you leave. There are plenty of hikes and adventures around to explore with your friends or by yourself that you’ll never be bored. It’s your playground and so make the most of it while you can!

There is so much to miss so if we didn’t cover it, make sure to comment below Seawolves!
