SSU Student Bucket List

Whether you’re a senior getting ready to graduate or a freshman just getting started, everyone comes in with goals and items on their to-do list that oftentimes never quite get done. We here at Seawolf Living don’t believe in regrets, so let’s see what YOU should put on your SSU bucket list and complete before you graduate.

ON-CAMPUS

Group Fitness Classes

Ever wondered what a group fitness class here at SSU was like? Well they are a fantastic way to introduce yourself to the fitness world with guidance and support. Best part is…they are FREE!

Attending An ASP Event

Everything from trivia and Paint & Sips to competing in the next DJ competition, ASP throws some fantastic events! If you haven’t attended many in your time here, well then you have to put it in your schedule!

Climb The Rock Wall

How many times have you walked past the rock wall in the Rec Center? 10 times or even maybe 100? Well one thing that is said by students quite often when committing here is that they will climb the rock wall one day…so if that’s you make your way over there now!

The Kitchens Themed Dinners

Have you ever attended The Kitchens during a special event? Well if you haven’t, they are an absolute blast and will have your taste buds dancing! The Kitchens always goes all out for their themes and never disappoint! Attend the next one soon!

OFF-CAMPUS

Trip To The Redwoods

The Armstrong Redwoods are nearby and a perfect escape for a day trip and fun adventure here up north! Gather some friends and hit the road for a day full of fun and exploration.

Visit The Barlow

The Barlow is a great spot for some GOOD food! Think of it as a one stop shop for all things shopping, food, and drinks if you’re over 21 years old!

The Russian River

Missing the lake or beach? Well our next best thing is the Russian River! Load up a car with friends and food and make your way over to the river for some fun in the sun! The Russian River is best experienced when its sunny and warm.

Sonoma Square

Have you ever been to the heart of Sonoma? Well the Sonoma Square is as cute as can be and is a great area to feel the Sonoma experience. Between all the cute shops, sites to see, and food, you’re in for a great day!

TAKE A CHANCE

Take a fun class outside of your major!

Ever wanted to enroll in yoga or an art class, but have always felt like you have no room? Well if at some point in your college career you can, we highly recommend taking a class that feels fun and brings you happiness throughout the semester. So make room in your schedule the next time you can and you will thank yourself in the long run!

Make 3 new friends in your classes!

If you’re someone in need of new people in your life and want to challenge yourself…then try to make 3 new friends in every class you have! We all tend to find our current friends and glue ourselves to them, but step out of your comfort zone this time! We promise you won’t regret it :)

Have a SOLO day!

Sonoma County is so beautiful and has an endless amount of activities to do, but have you ever decided to experience it solo? Maybe you are someone who already likes to go solo, but for those of us who don’t, there’s something special about spending the day with yourself doing things you love or that are new to you!

Take a risk Seawolves, and make your time here at SSU one to remember!
