Krista Keith

Lead Marketing Coordinator

Why did you apply for your role?

I applied for this role because I am studying Business Administration concentrating in Marketing and I wanted to gain real experience with a brand that I love so much!

How was your interview experience with Seawolf Living?

My personal interview experience for Seawolf Living was fantastic! I felt prepared for the questions asked of me thanks to the help of my roommates at the time. Since this was my first business related interview, we studied and practiced all of the possible sample questions I could find online for a Marketing position like the one I was interviewing for, and made sure my answers were authentic, but also structured and professional. I have also experienced being a part of the interviewers for Seawolf Living, and that has elevated my perspective on how answers come across to employers.

What advice would you give others who are job searching and might want to apply to work for our team?

My advice would be to make sure you are answering questions clearly and concisely, stay honest and transparent about skills you do and don't have, and be knowledgeable about the role and company you are applying for. Make it known that you are willing and excited to learn, and are grateful for the opportunity to be interviewed!

Amanda Pohopien

Content Team Lead

Why did you apply for your role?

I originally applied for the Digital Content Creator role and worked in that role for a year before getting promoted to content team lead! I applied for the role because I have a passion for photography, and I wanted to bring that passion to a brand on campus I have been looking up to since I got accepted to SSU.

How was your interview experience with Seawolf Living?

My interview experience was INCREDIBLE!! The interviewers made me feel so safe and happy, and I actually had a funny experience with one of the interviewers (Ellie Zielsdorf) where we sat next to each other on a plane a couple months prior. Being able to connect with the people interviewing me was so much fun, and was a great introduction into the job I would soon have.

What advice would you give others who are job searching and might want to apply to work for our team?

My biggest advice EVER is to reach out no matter what. I did not even know SL was hiring when I applied, and I reached out through the Seawolf Living website and got an interview right away. Always be personable and kind, laugh with your interviewers, be on time, dress nice, I could go on. But most importantly, it does not hurt to reach out!!

Leila Brown

Creative Communications Coordinator

Why did you apply for your role?

Since my first year at SSU, working at Seawolf Living had been a dream of mine. I started with the Brandbassador internship for two semesters before applying and receiving my role as the Creative Communications Coordinator and I’ve never been happier!

How was your interview experience with Seawolf Living?

I actually applied for a position or two my first year and didn’t get it. However, I knew that this was where I wanted to be, and so I didn’t give up! When I was going in for my interview, I was terrified. But I quickly realized that it felt more like a conversation than an interview. It was very interactive and they truly cared about all that I had to offer. When I got the call, I was so so happy that I didn’t get discouraged the first time. Don’t give up when applying to jobs, you are so so capable!

What advice would you give others who are job searching and might want to apply to work for our team?

My biggest advice would be talking positively to yourself beforehand and after the interview! Whatever happens, just know that you have something to share that no one else can offer, and that makes you special. Seawolf Living truly is a wonderful place to work, and I’ve never loved a job more. Each day is SO much fun, and I recommend that you apply!!! :)
