Casey’s Tips
Junior, Communications & Media Studies Major
Tip #1: Reach out for help before your registration appointment time
Advisors, friends, alumni and professors are all resources to help you. So start now! Reach out through email to set up a Zoom call to chat about class options. It is important to make these conversations happen well before your registration appointment time.
Tip #2: Have a back-up plan… and then another one
Seawolf Scheduler just became your new best friend! With so many different class options to choose from, it can be hard to find ones that fit into your schedule, and more importantly, which ones have open seats. It is crucial to have more than one schedule saved, so that there’s no need to scramble later on.

Tip #1: Give yourself time!
If you know you're going to be in class or at work during your registration time, make sure that you ask for a break so that you can register for your classes without the stress of other priorities weighing you down.
Tip #2: Know your advisement report
Your advisement report can be found in your MySSU portal. Make sure you know which classes and how many units you will need to graduate. There’s nothing worse than realizing that you are missing units! Make sure you know your requirements and get them done as early as possible!
